Carlisle and surrounding suburbs

This dedicated Reading For Sure centre has three tutors currently available over 6 days for individual literacy sessions.  There is sometimes the opportunity for two family members to attend at the same time – each with their own tutor.  The earliest session in the day starts at 8am and the last starts at 5.30pm. Sessions are available during school hours.

Our tutors are highly experienced and dedicated to helping children reach their potential while enjoying the learning expericence. 

Like all Reading for Sure Tutors all staff hold Working with Children Checks. 

This clinic offers a full range of Reading for Sure services:

Pre literacy – from 3.5 years old (recommend daytime sessions)

Early Literacy – for the pre school child or others who need to start at this level.

Literacy all aspects – for all ages as appropriate. Students will generally be of primary school age but will sometimes include early highschool age or adult students who have not had the opportunity to learn to Read and Write at the appropriate level.

Literacy for Adults with English as a second language. Opportunity for small group classes can sometimes be available.

Maths.

Our tutors in this clinic also work with students who struggle to learn the maths skills. These one to one lessons are tailored to the individual child’s needs and challenges. The goal is for them to learn and master all the foundation skills needed to operate mathematicallly and then to progress them forward to work at their full potential.

Lynne’s Reading For Sure is located on Oats St Carlise right next to the Oats St Train Station and has parking in front.
