This package comes will the tools and texts you will need to introduce independent reading to your child. The materials used in this package are used in our Reading For Sure program to introduce or remediate the reading process. Now they are available for you to use at home. If you want to maximize the learning from these resources you can look at the training videos in the parent training.

• Teaching course for parents – you can use this material without the help of the course.
• Coloured Alphabet Chart, laminated. A4 size.
• Coloured Alphabet Chart with upper and lower case letters (vowel letters highlighted). Laminated A4 size
• Coloured Digraph Chart – pictures for each of the 6 digraphs (ch, sh, th, wh, qu, ck),
• Fat Cat Sam Reader-Landscape A4 size book with 60 pages.
• Fat Cat Sam Workbook, includes activities on letter formation, comprehension, and spelling and also includes ideas for games you can play.
• Alphabet letter cards-doubles of all the uppercase and lowercase letters and 6 digraphs, the Fat Cat Sam word cards-doubles of all the words found in the Fat Cat Sam reader.
• Screener Set -these help a student learn to sequence a word from left to right and focus on the word they are reading.
• Altogether these are excellent resources, that will help you ensure your child has the reading skills they need.
